TENLEYTOWN LIBRARY

THIS WEB SITE PROJECT WAS CREATED IN COMPUTER LITERACY DURING THE FALL ‘11

For my final project in Graphic Design 220: Computer Literacy, I designed a new website for the Tenleytown Library based on the logo I previously designed for them. This site needed to be easy to navigate for people of all ages and not overwhelmingly full of information. As the library provides multitudes of resources, this was a bit of a challenge. I chose to utilize jquery in creating a tiered system of revealing information and resources in order to keep each page clean and only provide the requested information. This feature can easily accommodate more information as the library’s array of resources expands. The site, as a whole, provides a simplistic and clean presentation for the library’s material.
