PHILLY AREA ART

This website was the final project of the semester, bringing together all aspects learned throughout the course including web design standards, usability, and technical work. The focus of this assignment was to create a slideshow gallery using jQuery plugins. My Philly Area Art website provides an overview of five of the major art museums in the Philadelphia area: the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Pennsylvania Academy of Art, the Barnes Foundation, the Brandywine River Museum, and the Michener Art Museum. The website, with museums clearly separated by color, acts as an introduction for visitors hoping to take advantage of the many art options in Philadelphia. I’ve provided a profile of the major attractions of each museum, as well as visiting information and a sampling of the most notable work held there.
