This series of pamphlets for a fictional collage workshop references collage work by artist John Stezaker.

To create this, I first took several portraits in a photo studio. Then, I printed them, trimmed as desired, crumpled them up (for added texture), and scanned them again. When I receive fliers of my own with art I like enough to display, I like to trim the words off so I can use the art on its own. With this in mind, I intentionally let the text and the imagery stand separately so that anyone who likes the flier enough to keep can use the image for their own purposes. Who knows! Maybe they can make their own collage.
