George Gu is a junior undergraduate currently majoring in Contemporary and Emerging Media. As his major title suggests, he is interested in issues at the intersectional forefront of technology, culture, and design. He expects to graduate in May of 2018.

Emigre: A Brief History

Emigré's story - one of unconventional beginnings and far-flung dreams - resonated with me deeply. I wanted to respond to their courage with courage of my own; I wanted to push my own work to embody their progressive spirit. This booklet was the result.
